On Thursday 26th November members of the Industry, NHS & Social Care Innovation Network will meet for an online conference to discuss developments, opportunities & strategic alignment for healthcare collaboration & innovation. With Artificial Intelligence as the central theme, the event will provide important national updates across the life sciences landscape.
Hosted by NHS in partnership with the Scottish Government, the meeting will be chaired by Prof David Crossman (Chief Scientist Officer for the Scottish Government) with the roster of speakers to include iCAIRD programme partners.
iCAIRD Director Prof David Harrison & SME partner Craig Rhodes (Nvidia) will discuss global & local opportunities for artificial intelligence to drive healthcare transformation, whilst iCAIRDs’ mammography project leads Dr Gerald Lip & Peter Kecskemethy (CEO, Kheiron Medical) will present an overview of their AI in mammography work in iCAIRD and opportunities for AI adoption in NHS cancer diagnostics. Core project industry partners Canon Medical Research will additionally be presenting on test beds and industrial innovation.
