On March 4th the next meeting of the Innovate UK, NHS Scotland & Social Care and Industry Innovation Network will take place. Organised by NHS Scotland with Scottish Government, the session will run 10am – 1pm and will include the following highlights:

  • Updates from national Industry and Government leaders on recovery and future plans
  • Overview from Clinical Leads for Innovation on 2021/22 priorities for NHS and Social Care
  • Investment Support- Creating an Investment Ecosystem for Life Sciences companies innovating with NHS and Social Care
  • Cancer Moon Shot- Hear from Scotland’s Clinicians, Academics and Industrialists on progress with the Cancer Diagnostics Moon Shot- 25 by 25- radical innovation in skin care

iCAIRD programme CTO James Blackwood and project co-investigator Dr David Lowe will be among the speakers on the 4th discussing priorities for healthcare innovation in Scotland whilst our director Prof David Harrison will be chairing the afternoon session focussing on skin cancer diagnostic goals.
