Overview

We are working with SME partner Bering Ltd to develop an Artificial Intelligence system for frontal chest X-Ray interpretation. This will be trained and validated for deployment in triaging of patients using chest X-rays which are the most common diagnostic tool used in hospital & clinic admissions.

Aims & Objectives

The key objectives of this project are:

• Development and validation of a machine learning algorithm for triage of normal and abnormal PA chest X-Rays (CXRs).
• Benchmarking model performance against board-certified Radiologists using prospectively-collected CXRs.
• Scaling of the predictive model to additional iCAIRD centres.
